METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATION OF PERIODIC SIGNAL

PURPOSE: To provide synchronizing signal generation method/device for efficiently, precisely and speedily taking out a synchronizing signal (clock) in a phase adjacent relation with an input signal. CONSTITUTION: A part of the input signal 403 whose state changes at period intervals is supplied to a first oscillator with gate 405 and a first vibration signal 413 is generated. The remaining part of the input signal is supplied to a second oscillator with gate 415 matching the first oscillator through an inverter 407 and a second vibration signal 415 is generated. The first and second oscillation signal outputs are supplied to a Boolean negative OR gate 417 and the period signal 419 in the phase adjacent relation on the input signal is generated. Thus, the period signal in the phase adjacent relation on the input signal can be obtained as the output of the Boolean negative OR gate by adjusting the frequencies of the first and second oscillation signals with the frequency of the input signal.
