PURPOSE:To improve operability on a handwritten character editing device. CONSTITUTION:A tool information storage part 1 storing tool information such as an eraser and a pencil, a graphic character recognition part 2 recognizing a graphic and a character, a character graphic information storage part 3 storing information on the recognized character and graphic, a coordinate judgement part 4 judging whether the character or the graphic exists on coordinate information obtained from the character graphic information storage part 3 or not, an editing operation processing part 5 which obtains tool information from the tool information storage part 1 when pen information is received, judges a handwritten image input mode whether it is an entry or deletion or recognition mode, transfers coordinate information to the character graphic recognition part 2 so as to make it recognize it, displays a result or transfer pen information to the coordinate judgement part 4, obtains the judged result, deletes the character or deletes a bit map image and a display part 6 displaying the bit map image and the graphic or the character are provided. |
