The enclosures (2A,2B) are designed to screen the electromagnetic radiation and the sleeves (5A,5B) are inserted in holes (3A,3B) in the enclosure walls in such a way as to ensure electrical continuity between the hole edges (4A,4B) and the sleeves. The cable (1) is enclosed by the boot (6) which is fixed at each end to the sleeves by a cable grip collar (7A,7B). The boot is made of a good conductor in the form of a woven braid which may be folded back on itself at least once. USE/ADVANTAGE - Confidential and secure transmission esp. banks and military systems. Simpler, assured protection, adaptable to different cable diameters.
