PURPOSE:To obtain the electrophoresis apparatus having excellent separating performance, which effectively removes attached bubbles and foreign matter that adversely affect on the flow of inner solution and do not stagnate in a migrating cell. CONSTITUTION:Two pairs of solution sucking ports 21 and 21' and discharging ports 22 and 22' are provided at the upper and lower side surfaces of a migrating cell 1 so as to face each other. These ports are connected to a solution pump 25 through selector valves 27, 27', 28 and 28'. Thus, a piping loop 26 is formed. A bubble separator 24 and foreign-matter removing device 34 are provided. The bubble separator 24 has a casing 30, whose pressure can be removed with a vacuum pump 29, a tubular hydrophobic porous film 31, an inlet port 32 and an outlet port 33. The foreign-matter removing device 34 has a filter 36 for removing the foreign matter in a casing 35, an inlet port 37 for the solution and outlet port 38. A cleaning-liquid feeding means is also provided. Attached bubbles and foreign matter, which do not stagnate in the migrating cell, are peeled with the flow of the solution and removed by passing through the bubble separator 24 and the foreign-matter removing device 34. Therefore, the electrophoresis apparatus, whose separating performance is excellent, is obtained. |
