PURPOSE:To clearly discriminate a sound image position of each sound even when the sounds which differ in sound image position are generated at the same time and the obtain the spread feeling of sound. CONSTITUTION:A matrix controller MTR1 controls the connection relation and array relation among multipliers M1-M12, adders IN10-IN13, and channels Ch10-Ch17, namely, controls how the signals of the respective channels Ch10-Ch17 are assigned to virtual speakers VS10-VS13. Then sound image positions of the respective channels Ch are determined depending upon what ratio they are assigned to the virtual speakers at. In other words, the sound image positions of the respective channels are controlled by controlling panning to the virtual speakers VS10-VS13. |
