<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the level of a reproduced envelope signal at higher than the prescribed level by compensating the curved track of a recorded tape at the time of reproduction without using an expensive movable head. CONSTITUTION:A target value setting circuit 4 changes the target value of the rotational speed of a capstan motor 7 provided on a speed detector 5 based on the level variation of a reproduced envelope signal obtained by tracing a recorded track 50 by a reproducing head 1. Thereby, the rotational speed of the capstan motor 7 is controlled by a speed control loop consisting of a speed detector 6, speed detecting signal amplifier 8, the speed detector 5, an adder 13, and a motor driving amplifier 14 and tracing is performed by making the reproducing head 1 follow a curvature of the recorded track 50. Consequently, the level of the reproduced envelope signal regenerated by the reproducing head 1 is made to be a constant value higher than the prescribed level, and the degradation of reproduced picture quality or sound quality is prevented.</p> |
