ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER

PURPOSE:To attain excellent developing property and transfer property by sticking a specific quantity of barium titanate particle to the surface of a toner and making volume resistibility a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The toner particle contains a magnetic powder, a binding resin, if necessary, a charge controlling agent and a colorant such as carbon black. A magnetic powder of 98% Fe3O4 content is appropriately used as the magnetic powder. Barium titanate particle of 0.1-30 pts.wt. to the toner particle of 100 pts.wt. is stuck to the surface of the toner particle. And the volume resistivity of the toner is 0X10<2>-1.0X10<6>OMEGA.cm. Barium titanate particle is preferably <=5mum in volume average particle diameter. The carbon black is stuck to adjust the volume resistivity of the toner. The volume resistivity of the carbon black is preferably <=30OMEGA.cm.
