PURPOSE: To provide rigid structure and to inexpensively manufacture a cartridge by providing plural side walls which are integrally formed on a substrate made of a high molecule material, and fitting nails, hubs or the like for supporting a driving roller and a tape guide on the substrate and providing a top plate. CONSTITUTION: The tape cartridge contains an upper cover 12, a front wall 14 containing a notch part recess 16, a write inhibition device 18, a pivot door 20 covering the notch part 16, the driving roller 22 and an optical window 24 making an optical signal for detecting the end of a tape and the bottom of the tape pass through. The substrate 30 of the cartridge contains a rear part, the side walls 32, 34 and 36 and a front wall 38 having plural openings, which are integrally formed. At least five pin reception board bosses 43 extending upward are integrally formed on the substrate 30 so that they receive pins 45 provided as the shafts of the driving roller 47, a tape hub 49 and the driving belt roller 51 and rigidly support them. The substrate 30 contains an intermediate guide supporting rib 50 for holding a stopping nail 46 for the tape guide sleeve and a tape guide pin 55, which are integrally formed. |
