<p>PURPOSE:To input by handwriting a character string mixing a space with extremely natural feeling by automatically embedding a space code in the space part of the character string. CONSTITUTION:When a position corresponding to a certain character in internal document data displayed in a document display window 11 is indicated by a stylus pen, a character string insertion positioning part 4 is activated, an inserting position cursor 12 is displayed at this indicated position, and this is decided as a position to insert the new character string. When a character is handwritten in a character string description window 13, a handwriting input character processing part 5 displays the description of the character on the display device of a tablet 1 with integrated display as it is and stores the sequence of coordinate values corresponding to the description as handwritten data. When a recognition button 14a is designated by the stylus pen, a space mixing character string recognition processing part 3 is activated, the space mixing character string corresponding to the handwritten data stored in the handwriting input processing part 5 is recognized and inserted to the insertion pointer of the internal document data.</p> |
