PURPOSE:To support power of a maximum limit to meet a system capacity in emergency by providing system capacity correcting means for previously correcting power regulating sensitivity of emergency time automatic frequency control means in response to a load change. CONSTITUTION:The DC series frequency controller comprises ordinary time automatic frequency control means for controlling orthogonal converters 2A, 2B according to DC transmission power to be interchanged between two systems for frequencies of two current systems 1A, 1B to be interlocked by DC transmission and emergency time automatic frequency control means. Particularly, the controller comprises system capacity correcting means 13. The means 13 corrects in response to emergency time DC transmission power command value (f) according to a previously stored load change pattern to output a corrected emergency time DC transmission power command value (h). Thus, a high gain value can be set as power regulating sensitivity without sacrificing stability of a time having a small system capacity. |
