The connection is a hanger consisting of a comparatively thick base-plate (2) and two thin flanges (3a,3b) which are parallel to each other. The base-plate is extended to the exterior on either side by a plate (5a,5b) which is at right angles to the flanges (3a,3b). These plates can be fixed to the bottom of a groove in the stiffener and has members (6a,6b) for fixing them to this groove. The connector (1) can be fixed to the cross-beam using fixings (7a,7b). The connection can be coated with a layer of rubber or polyvinyl chloride to improve its water resistance. ADVANTAGE - Absorbs thermal expansion, increased rigidity of structure, suitable for concave, convex or flat walls.
