<p>PURPOSE:To prevent electric conductors from being short-circuited to each other by using an active matrix array substrate which has slits, reaching an insulation substrate, in insulating layers between adjacent electrode terminals and partial electric conductors. CONSTITUTION:A drain electrode terminal TD and a partial electric conductor PD are formed at the same time with a gate electrode terminal TG and a partial electric conductor PG which are formed before drain electric conductors DC, so the respective drain electric conductors CD are connected to corresponding partial electric conductors PD through contacts CC. Further, this substrate have the slits SG and SD formed between adjacent gate electrode terminals and partial electric conductors PG extending from them, and adjacent drain electrode terminals TD and partial electric conductors PD extending from them. Those slits SG and SD cut a gate-to-gate short-circuit conductive film GSD and a drain-to-drain short-circuit conductive films DSD to maintain electric insulation between gates of adjacent rows and drains of adjacent columns.</p> |
