<p>PURPOSE:To provide an image processor which never records the unnecessary dummy data or image information after the expansion of data. CONSTITUTION:A compressed data read out of a recording medium 1 are expanded by an expanding means 3 for each space block and turned into the image data on the compressed/ expanded area. When these image data are stored, an area deciding means 7 decides whether the picture elements corresponding to each of the image data which are outputted in the prescribed order belong to the designated areas or the non-designated areas. Then the means 7 inhibits the writing of the image data accordant with the picture elements belonging to the non-designated areas. Thus only the image data on the designated areas are stored in a storage means 4.</p> |
