PURPOSE:To obtain the concentration of NO2 and the concentration of NOx at the same time for the same gas to be measured. CONSTITUTION:An electrochemical converter 12 converts NO2 in gas to be measured into NO and has the solid electrolyte electrochemical cell, which outputs the current proportional to the converted quantity. An NO detector 14, which detects the NO in the gas to be measured through the electrochemical converter 12, is provided at the downstream from the electrochemical converter 12. An NO2 computing part of a data processing part 16 computes the concentration of NO2 based on the amount of the current conduction through the electrochemical converter 12. An NOx computing part 20 computes the concentration of total nitrogen oxide NOx based on the output of an NO detector 14. An NO computing part 22 computes the concentration of NO based on NOx-NO2. |
