<p>PURPOSE:To store many data of running distances, to improve the reliability of data, to equalize the burden for rewriting in all areas and to make writing operation common without increasing the capacity of a semiconductor storage device such as an E<2>PROM. CONSTITUTION:Running distance data in an odo-trip meter are stored in a semiconductor storage device. When the running distance data are allocated and stored in the address space of the semiconductor storage device, the lower two digits of the running distance data are assigned to an address, the fourth and the third digits are assigned to their data so as to be stored in the semiconductor storage device. Further, the fourth digit of running distance data is assigned to the address and the fifth, sixth digits are assigned to the data so as to be stored in the semiconductor storage device.</p> |
