PURPOSE:To edit diagram without requiring an editor to maintain the restriction of branches and summits in the diagram in editing the diagram having the graph structure such as communicative diagram, state transition graph and causal network. CONSTITUTION:A diagram holding means 101 holds the diagram being the object of edition. A restriction holding means 102 holds the restriction of branches and summits on the diagram. An input means 103 accepts the edition instruction from an editor and updates the means 101 when the diagram is edited according to the instruction, and updates the means 102 when the edition of restriction. A restriction satisfying means 105 updates the content of the means 101 so that the diagram in the means 101 satisfies the restriction in the means 102. A display means 104 displays the diagram. An edition control means 106 controls the input means 103, restriction satisfying means 105, and display means 104. |
