PURPOSE:To collectively amplify a plurality of beams of signal light by using one optical fiber amplifier and to easily attach the amplifier to a multicore optical fiber core. CONSTITUTION:In an optical fiber amplifier in which signal light is amplified by an induced-emission effect at a rare earth-doped fiber on which excitation light from an excitation light source 5 is incident, connectors 2, 3 to which a plurality of optical fibers 6, 7 can be connected collectively are installed, and a plurality of main-body circuits 4 which contain rare earth-doped fibers are installed between input/output parts. |
