PURPOSE:To evade such range-finding action that a beam becomes in a middle omission state and to easily arid quickly take a snapshot. CONSTITUTION:A camera in which autofocusing control is performed is provided with a snap button 18 functioning as a middle omission preventing button operated by a photographer, and when the button 18 is depressed, the autofocusing control is released and a lens part is driven so as to attain a specified photographing distance (for example, 2m) previously stored in a memory 17, and a diaphragm is set to an f-number(for example, f-number=11) making the depth of focus get deep. Furthermore, a stroboscope is allowed to emit light in the case of adopting a program shutter. Thus, the middle omission preventing operation such as locking a state where a projected light beam is temporarily cast on an object need not be performed. |
