PURPOSE:To obtain the spindle motor capable of easily assembling a spindle base and a rotor to a spindle shaft. CONSTITUTION:The motor is equipped with the spindle base 13 and the rotor 37, which are rotated integrally with the spindle shaft 39, a driving magnet 38 fitted to the rotor 37 and a stator yoke 22 fitted with a driving coil 36 and also having a bearing for freely rotatably supporting the shaft 39. The spindle base 13 and the rotor 37 are constituted as different members, and an engagement hole 61 is bored in the rotor 37 for the purpose of fitting the spindle base 13 from a lower part into the hole, and the spindle shaft 39 of the spindle base 13 is inserted into a bush 62 of the stator yoke 22 so that they are assembled. Moreover, the rotor 37 is assembled by interposing the spindle base 13, and the rotor 37 is attracted to the stator yoke 22 by magnetic force of the driving magnet 38 so as to be integrated with the spindle base 13. |
