A back bag such as a back pack, knapsack or a rucksack has a bottom-equipped bag portion (10), a pair of shoulder straps (14) provided on the body-contact side of the bag portion and adapted to be hung from the user's shoulders, and a hip belt (18) extending from a lower portion of the body-contact side of the bag portion to surround the user's hip bone.
