The length of the rectangular blank is twice as large as the width. The centre of the blank has a first fold line (2) running at right angles to the long sides of the blank to divide same into a front wall part (1) and rear wall part (3). At one end of the blank are two cross slits (6,7) for passing through the closure tab (8) set at the other end of the blank. Inside the closure tab is a detent nose (10) with detent slit. The nose acts as a barb so that the tab when passed through the slits locks sideways behind one of the slits. The free end of the tab has a hanging eyelet. The packet has to be destroyed when opening. USE/ADVANTAGE - Low cost packaging which is easy to close but is intact until opened.
