The tool-holder has a shank (3) fixed to the rear part (8) of the two-part tool-head (2). The front part (7) of the tool-head has a clamping slot for the turning tool and is vertically adjustable relative to the rear part by rotating a screw (36). The parting faces of the front and rear parts (7,8) of the tool-head are produced with vertical zigzag serrations i.e. serrations lying in the direction of tool adjustment. The front part (7) is clamped in place by four screws (15,16,17,18) passing through elongated holes and screwing into the rear part (8). USE/ADVANTAGE - Rigid compact design of turning tool-holder with fine adjustment of tool height allowing standard depth of tool-head to be maintained.
