A stiff plastics frame insert (2) has a recess (5) for the introduction of a mirror (4). The recess is open only at the front side (6) lying opposite the rear side (12) of the sun visor (1). The mirror is held in place against removal by fastening elements or by clamping, gluing or welding. Alternatively the mirror can be inserted with a positive fit against rests (7), projections or deformations. ADVANTAGE - Simplifies assembly by avoiding the need for a special holder for the mirror.
