PURPOSE:To realize floating of the magnetic head by utilizing the fact that the repulsive power exists between the magnetized pattern on the disc or the permanent magnet buried into the disc and the magnetic field given from the magnetic gap provided to the head when the start and stop time of the disc rotation. CONSTITUTION:Magnetized pattern 10 is recorded previously in zone 2 of disc turning direction 3 and at the position corresponding to sliding surface 4 of core slider 19. In the same way, magnetized pattern 11 is recorded at the position corresponding to sliding surface 5. One side of patterns 10 and 11 each is set to the N pole with the other side set to the S pole each. Then the current is flowed to winding 17 when the rotation is started for the disc, and the magnetic field is generated by gap 14. Thus slider 19 is floated up by the magnetic repulsive power between the above magnetic field and the magnetized patterns 10 and 11. The current to winding 17 is cut off after disc rotation 3 rised up to the steady rotational frequency, thus the slider's floating can be secured thereafter by the floating force of the air film. |
