CARRIAGE VRIABLE IN LENGTH AND USABLE IN COMMON FOR BASE OF DIFFERENT WIDTH AND FORM

PURPOSE: To obtain a carriage which can be adjusted to any shape of trucks and any width between the tables working together and can be lifted and easily transferred among a plurality of tables to be used for a series of operations. CONSTITUTION: This tool carriage 10 includes a main beam 30 along which a subcarriage 32 carrying the tool travels and is supported above a supporting table by two end parts 80, 82. This main beam 30 is long enough to straddle the widest width of the supporting table 12 and is adjustable at one of the two end parts to meet different tables widths. The end parts have rollers to support the carriage above the table support surface in such a manner to prevent it from changing its configuration laterally on the table. The lateral rollers on one end of the carriage are adjusted in the horizontally and vertically extending directions so that either end of the carriage can fit any shape of a table edge.
