发明名称 COLLOIDS FOR INCREASING FRICTION COEFFICIENT OF CARBON-FREE PAPER PAD COATING
摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a composition suited for use in a carbonless paper pad coat or a release coating. CONSTITUTION: This composition contains (a) about 0.1-10.0 wt.% inorganic colloid with about 1-125 nm particle dia., (b) about 0.1-5.0 wt.% non-sticky material, (c) about 60.0-99.9 wt.% water and (d) 0-25 wt.% binder based on total weight of a coating composition. From the viewpoint of the best suited state of practical use, a colloidal silica is used. When inorganic colloidal particles are added to a carbonless paper pad coat, the coefficient of friction of its surface is increased and consequently, the adhesive properties of the surface of the pad coat to a toner and the receptivity of ink are enhanced. Further with the reduced rate of the erroneous supply and the double supply of the carbonless paper, its uniform supply into a photograph duplicating machine and a printing press is promoted.
