PURPOSE:To provide a conductive rubber material for an electrophotographic copier which prevents bleeding and blooming to enable a high-quality image to be obtained. CONSTITUTION:The material comprises 100 pts.wt. rubber component cross- linked with a metal salt, 5-100 pts.wt. carbon black as a conductivity improver, and up to 3 pts.wt. acetone-extractables, e.g. a softener and a plasticizer. The rubber component comprises a diene rubber containing a butadiene rubber and a rubber (a) having no double bond in its backbone, the contents of the butadiene rubber and the rubber (a) being 10-30wt.% and at least 15wt.%, respectively, based on the rubber component. The rubber (a) may be an EPDM. |
