PURPOSE:To prevent a pipe line from deviating from a planned line of propulsion. CONSTITUTION:A rear-end target plate 10 is attached to the rear end of a pipe to be propelled inside a shaft and a laser spot P is made to impinge on the target of the rear-end target plate 10 and thereby centering of a pipe is performed on a block 6 and then welding is performed and the pipe is propelled by a jack 7. Therefore, a pipe line is prevented from meandering or deviating from a planned line of propulsion.
