PURPOSE:To control a heating device for erasing images to be a temperature required for erasing the images at the time of erasing images by the use of a period of conveying reversible thermosensitive paper. CONSTITUTION:At the same time of electric source 'ON', the temperature of a heating device 1 for erasing images is raised up to T2 so that it is to be a state of standby. When an order of paper feeding is given to an automatic paper feeding device 3, reversible thermosensitive paper 4 is forwarded by a pick up roller 5 and delivered to a printer 2. As the reversible thermosensitive paper 4 is detected by a paper detecting switch 6, by the use of a period of conveying the reversible thermosensitive paper 4 to the position where the heating device 1 for erasing images lies, the temperature of the heating device 1 for erasing images is raised from T2 to a temperature of T1 at which the images of the reversible thermosensitive paper 4 can be erased. When the termination of the reversible thermosensitive paper 4 is confirmed, the temperature of the heating device for erasing images is lowered to T2 after a lapse of time during the transportation of the reversible thermosensitive paper 4 to the position in which the heating device 1 for erasing images lies. |
