PURPOSE:To produce a polymer containing no gel content in high conversion by heating hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene, etc., in the presence of an organic sulfonic acid silyl ester compound to polymerize the phosphazene at relatively low temperature and in a short time. CONSTITUTION:Hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene or octachlorocyclotri-phosphazene or their mixture is heated in the presence of an organic sulfonic acid silyl ester compound. As the organic sulfonic acid silyl ester compound, CH3SO2OSi (CH3)3, etc., is preferably used. |
