Process for manufacturing a laminate composed of at least two layers wherein a first layer comprising a thermoplastic continuous filament spunbonded and a second layer comprising a web wet-laid from inorganic fibre pulp are joined together by a conjoint heat-pressure treatment, characterised in that, to produce the wet-laid web, first a suspension in water of fibre pulp, thermoplastic binder and optionally further additives is applied to a water-permeable surface which holds back the other constituents and dried to form a web and in that the wet-laid dried web is brought together with the spunbonded prior to the heat-pressure treatment without further addition of binder. Laminate composed of at least two layers, a first layer comprising a thermoplastic continuous filament spunbonded and a second layer comprising an inorganic fibre web, characterised in that the second layer is a web which has been produced from fibre pulp by wet-laying and which contains a thermoplastic binder via which the first and the second layer have been bonded together thermally. |
