PURPOSE: To reduce transport and storage expenses by improving a plastic inner container of a pallet container. CONSTITUTION: An outer jacket 2 and a supporting insert 5 to support an inner container 6 are made foldable. A flexible top section of a plastic inner container 6 can be inverted into a rigid, dimensionally stable bottom section. In this way for air transport a pallet 1 and the outer jacket 2 can be stacked flat together with the supporting insert 5 and the plastic inner container 6 can be nested. As a result in comparison with the pallet container loaded with the filled inner container, the space occupied by the empty and folded pallet container can be significantly reduced. |
