A lock for steering wheel comprises a lock body 1, a dead bolt 2, a spring member 3, a stopping block 4, a cylinder lock 5, a retaining plate 6, a retaining shaft 7 and a plurality of fasteners N. The retaining plate is provided with a curved portion 62 extended from the lower portion. A pair of hooks 70, 71 are fixed to the underside of the retaining shaft by means of welding. The steering wheel is enclosed by the confined ring defined by the hooks of the retaining plate and the curved portion of the retaining shaft when the lock is positioned in a closed position. Consequently the steering wheel is retained from rotating since the retaining shaft is restricted in location between the corner of the windshield and the A-pillar. <IMAGE> |
