<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a golf club shaft with excellent labour effectiveness by soaking a mandrel in a thermoplastic resin solution after a discharge port of the mandrel is filled temporarily, winding a prepreg after solvent is volatilized, and carrying out hot forming while injecting air from a hollow part of the mandrel after a winding material is set in a metal mold. CONSTITUTION:A discharge port 11 of a hollow mandrel 1 having the air discharge port 11 is filled temporarily, and the mandrel 1 is soaked in a thermoplastic resin solution, and solvent of the thermoplastic resin solution is volatilized, and a prepreg 3 is wound on the thermoplastic resin layer. A winding material is set in a metal mold, and air is injected from a hollow part formed in the mandrel 1, and hot forming is carried out. Here the boiling point of the solvent of the thermoplastic resin solution is set at 70-150 deg.C. In this way, since a separable die layer 2 can be formed only by volatilizing the solvent while using thermoplastic resin, a golf club shaft can be manufactured efficiently, and since uneven wall thickness can be reduced, the golf club shaft having excellent strength can be manufactured.</p> |
