Condensates (C) of (A) oligohydroxy-C3-8-alkanes which contain at least three hydroxyl groups and (B) KOH, which contain at least 5 % by weight of K<+> and at least one alcoholic hydroxyl group, are outstandingly suitable for use as oxalkylating catalysts, especially for the oxalkylation of substrates containing ester groups, above all of natural vegetable or animal fats or oils or their modification products. |
