PURPOSE:To avoid the slippage or waving of a thin plate, to prevent the leakage of viscous fluid from divided blades and to simplify the assembly works of the title device by a method wherein a thickness control blade is equipped with divided blades separated by a slit and the slit is covered with a thin plate connected to the blades. CONSTITUTION:A base edge of a thickness control blade 2 covered with a thin plate 3 is fixed to a support 4 and the tip portion thereof opposes to an outer surface of a roller 1. The thickness control blade 2 consists of a plurality of divided blades 2a, aligned in the width direction, which are individually separated by means of slit sections 2b each having a width not less than the thickness of the blade. The thin plate 3, which is provided for preventing the leakage of an ink i from the slit sections 2b of the thickness control blade 2, covers the overall of the thickness control blade 2 and is connected to the divided blades 2a at the contact sections. |
