PURPOSE:To greatly reduce the noise although combustion air can be sufficiently supplied into an engine. CONSTITUTION:An outboard engine 10 provided with a cowling 24 for covering the periphery of the engine 17 of a propulsion unit is provided with a muffler box 25 arranged on the outside of the cowling 24, wherein inner spaces of the muffler box 25 and the cowling 24 are communicated wit each other by a duct 26.
