<p>PURPOSE:To multiply tissue without causing browning change and to effectively produce various secondary metabolites useful as medicine, etc., by culturing calluses derived from a tissue slice of a woody plant by using a high-viscosity liquid medium. CONSTITUTION:Calluses or differentiated tissue derived from tissue pieces of a woody plant (preferably Aanthopanax senticosus) is cultured in a liquid medium (usually liquid medium containing soled substance) having 0.5-10,000 poise (preferably 10-300 poise) at 25 deg.C.</p> |
