<p>PURPOSE:To enhance safety and efficiency by forming a first passage of a large diameter for passage of the air sucked by a fan through a hot air heater and a moisture absorbent in this order and a second passage of a small diameter in parallel with this first passage within a casing and mixing high-temp. high-moisture air and ordinary- temp. and low-moisture air at the time of regenerating the moisture absorbent. CONSTITUTION:Only the fan 7 is driven to introduce the air A1 in a housing from an inlet for moisture absorption into the casing 1 and to circulate the ordinary-temp. dry air successively passed through the de-energized hot air heater 8 and a silica gel 9 together with the air, which is not dehumidified, of the second passage 12 from an outlet side for moisture absorption into the housing at the time of moisture absorption. Since the quantity of the air passing the second passage 12 is small, the dehumidifying function in the housing is not impaired. The operation is changed over to a regeneration state when the silica gel 9 is saturated with the moisture by absorbing the moisture. The fan 7 is then driven to introduce the air A1 outside the housing from an inlet 4 for regeneration and the hot air A2 of a high temp. and high humidity past the silica gel 9 heated by the hot air heater 8 is mixed with the air A1 of the ordinary temp. and ordinary humidity in the second passage 12 in an outlet 5 for regeneration, from which the air mixture is discharged to the outside.</p> |
