PURPOSE:To provide a printing apparatus having excellent reliability by increasing the error detecting rate of a controlling program being inputted from the outside, and further by enabling the unfavorable parts to be specified in the controlling program. CONSTITUTION:This is characterized as storing a controlling program for regulating the operations of a printing apparatus 20 outputted from a host computer 30 and an inspecting program for performing the operational confirmation of the controlling program, into the flush memory 15 via a data receiving part 11, wherein in accordance with the inspecting program, CPU 10 performs the operational confirming of the stored controlling program, and indicates the results on the display. |
