<p>PURPOSE:To detect a pulse wave signal by using an optimal detection level. CONSTITUTION:Whenever an amplitude value of a pulse wave signal exceeds a higher detection level, a central processing unit(CPU) executes sampling of its amplitude value, and when its amplitude value becomes a decrease tendency and becomes <=1/2 of the maximum time, a blood pressure value is derived by data detected by the higher detection level (steps 103, 104, 106, 107 and 108), and when cuff pressure becomes <=10mmHg in other case than the foregoing, a blood pressure value is derived by data detected by a lower detection level (steps 101, 102, 105 and 109).</p> |
