PURPOSE:To obtain a recorder minimizing a limitation of a liquid absorbing member installation method, eliminating the need for replacing a liquid absorbing member, enhancing a fixing reliability, and lowering a running cost. CONSTITUTION:When a recording medium 5 with a magnetic fluid adhering reaches a liquid absorption roller 8, the magnetic fluid in undried and unsatisfactorily fixed states is absorbed and recovered into a temperature sensitive, high- liquid absorption resin. The temperature sensitive, high-liquid absorption resin having properties of absorbing liquid and keeping it inside makes the magnetic fluid transfer from the surface to the inner part, thereby positively absorbing the undried and unsatisfactorily fixed magnetic fluid without a possibility that the magnetic fluid once absorbed and recovered may again adhere to the recording medium. During a non-recording time, the magnetic fluid absorbed into the temperature sensitive, high-liquid absorption resin is discharged by heating a support shaft to a predetermined temperature or higher and recovered by a liquid recovery container 9. |
