A vibration measurement system comprising a transparent or translucent container partially filled with particulate material, the particles being of visually distinguishable different size. The container is suspendable from a vibrating body and the normally evenly distributed particles are caused to migrate to different positions within the container by the vibration transmitted to the container. The amount, size and frequency of vibration causing different amounts of migration. The change in distribution of the different sized particles provides an indication of the amount of vibration. |
