The invention relates to a circular saw blade (1) which can be connected, for example brazed, at its periphery along discrete sections (teeth) (2) to carbide cutting tips or diamond-set tips, so-called discs, essentially radially running recesses, termed slots (3), which define the tooth root (5) being provided between the individual teeth (2). Here, the circular saw blade (1) consists of two congruent, metallic blades of about half the thickness of a conventional saw blade in the range of application contemplated. The two blades are adhesively bonded to one another. In order to achieve a high degree of noise dampening, provision is made for the adhesive bonding to be effected in an area (6) which is at a distance from the periphery (4) of the saw blade (1).

|
