PURPOSE:To simultaneously transmit and receive signals between two or more pairs of devices and to transmit a luminance signal and an audio signal in a limited band without frequency conversion of chrominance signals concerning to the optical transmission linkage system where plural devices are mutually connected by one system of optical cables and at least one of the video signal and the audio signal is converted to an optical signal and is transmitted and received. CONSTITUTION:AV devices 1, 2, and 4 having the function of signal output are provided with transmitters 5a, 5b, and 5c respectively. AV devices 2, 3, and 4 having the function of signal input are provided with receivers 6a, 6b, and 6c respectively. Transmitters 5a, 5b, and 5c modulate output signals of AV devices 1, 2, and 4 to predetermined frequency bands an thereafter convert them to optical signals and transmit them to optical cables 7a to 7c. Since transmission bands are different from each other, optical signals are multiplexed in frequency division in optical cables 7a to 7c. |
