PURPOSE:To provide a sheet type thin battery having both high current collecting efficiency and large energy capacity by rigidly bonding a sheet type electrode to a current collector substrate with a fusible sheet for forming the electrode in such a way as mounted on the collector substrate. CONSTITUTION:A large-area sheet type electrode (b), a current collector substrate (c) and a fusible film a1 having an opening (e) are rigidly bonded to one another, thereby forming a positive electrode d1. In this case, a chalcogen compound of transition metal, a conductive high molecular compound or the like is used for the electrode (b). Also, stainless steel is used for the substrate (c), while a thermally fusible film such as denatured polyethylene and denatured polypropylene is used for the film a1. Furthermore, an electrolytic solution composed of an electrolytic salt and a solvent, a solid electrolyte or the like is used as an electrolyte. In order to prevent liquid leak, keep adhesion between positive and negative electrodes and maintain a constant gap, however, a high molecular solid electrolyte is preferably used. |
