LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a liq. crystal display device with a switching device requiring few pattern forming processes. CONSTITUTION:Plural 1st wires 2 are formed in parallel on a transparent insulating substrate 1 and a 1st insulating film 3, a semiconductor layer 4 and a 2nd insulating film 5 are successively laminated on the entire surface of the substrate 1 while covering the 1st wires 2 to form a switching device having a three- layered structure. A counter substrate 7 is disposed opposite to the transparent insulating substrate 1 after plural 2nd wires 8 are formed on one side of the substrate 7 confronting the substrate 1 in a direction perpendicular to that of the 1st wires 2.
