PURPOSE:To prevent the miss lead of record paper and prevent the occurrence of white stripe by giving enough holding torque to a motor, in case of stopping the intermittent motion of a stepping motor, concerning a recorder. CONSTITUTION:A stepping motor 27 is stopped always in two-phase excitation state, at stoppage of the intermittent motion of the stepping motor 27, by driving the stepping motor 27 in 1-2 phase excitation method, and also, putting it in one-phase excitation state at start of printing, and besides, setting the number of continuous printing line to even, thus the motor is retained with large holding torque. As a result, the miss lead by the restoring force of the flexure of the rubber member 23b of a platen roller 23 is prevented, and white stripe is prevented from occurring between lines. |
