PURPOSE:To reduce the processing in a mobile body communication exchange and each base station by performing decision for the switching period and switching destination of a control zone and the issuance of a switching request according to the movement of a mobile body terminal between the control zones by the mobile body terminal itself. CONSTITUTION:The mobile body terminal 5 under the control of the base station (A) 2 always measures the electric field strength of a wave from a peripheral base station, and sends out a control zone switch request signal to the base station (B) 3 via the control channel (B) 12 of the base station when the electric field strength of the base station (B) 3 is increased higher than that of its own control base station (A) 2. The request signal is reported from the base station (B) 3 to the mobile body communication exchange 1 via a communication line (B) 13, and an individual speech path (Ba) 11 and an individual radio channel (B) 10 are set newly between the mobile body communication exchange 1 and the mobile body terminal 5, and a call being issued (communicated) at present is switched to the path, and the path via the base station (A) 2 being used so far is returned to a vacant path. |
