<p>PURPOSE:To display a cursor by determining its shape so that the movement of the cursor becomes continuous evenly when a character different from the size of a row and a column is displayed in a graphic editor capable of designating a position by the row and the column. CONSTITUTION:A cursor shape determining means 1 retrieves whether there is the character at the position where the cursor is intended to display and in the range of a standard cursor including this position or not, and as the result of this retrieval, if there is the character at the position where the cursor is intended to display, it displays the range of this character, and if there is no character both at the position where the cursor is intended to display and in the range of the standard cursor, it displays the range of the standard cursor, and if there is the character in the range of the standard cursor, it displays the range obtained by removing the character from the range of the standard cursor respectively as the range of the cursor.</p> |
